The main difference is the concept of love. In Christianity, love is elevated other things such as faith and good works alone. Even going as far to say that God is love, as this characteristic sums up His essence. In Christianity Jesus is the example of leading a selfless life, sacrificing his life for others. Martyrdom has a somewhat different meaning in some other beliefs! Adam
