The American Democracy Project is a leftist cover organization established by the [[American Association of State Colleges and Universities]]. Its stated aims are simply to "encourage civic engagement" among young college students.  The ADP struck a deal with the left-leaning publication the [[New York Times]], which paved the way for dozens of college campuses around the U.S. to become inundated with liberal indoctrination without cost to the universities.  Conceivably, students buy into the appearance of neutrality and are passively conditioned to view the world from a leftist perspective, reinforcing whatever indoctrination they might ordinarily receive from their professors.
