Though it has been derecognized as a college sport, Dartmouth once acknowledged [[beer pong]] as a club sport. It remains the favorite sport of the student population today, though they only play it recreationally. However, this still leads to rampant drunkenness on Friday, Saturday, Monday, and Wednesday nights, as many students schedule so that they may go out [[binge drinking]] as many as four nights per week. In fact, what would by standard definition be [[binge drinking]] is a "slow night" at Dartmouth, as most students drink until the point of unconsciousness, participation in promiscuous sex, public nudity, or participation in "[[The Dartmouth Seven]]."
