Not evolution
Line 4: Line 4:
I know of guided evolution in a non-theistic way.  We do it each time we take an anti-biotic.  We are eliminating all of the non-resistant bacteria (at least most of them) so that the resistant bacteria now have more room to grow and better fitness (ability to get genes into the future).  This is also known as artificial evolution.  Another example could be choosing the fattest pigs or strongest horses from a group.  But like above if we aren't guiding evolution then we don't know if it is being guided.--[[User:Snotbowst|Snotbowst]] 23:37, 1 March 2008 (EST)
