The Isle of Skye is the largest of the Western Isles off the coast of [[Scotland]]. Skye is best known for its many world class distilleries producing fine peaty whiskies, its [[golf]] courses and the Cuillin [[mountain]] range with its unique [[geology]] offering the most challenging mountaineering to be found anywhere in [[Britain]].
In common with many of the Western Isles, Skye is a very traditional and deeply religious community giving a strong sense of Scottish life before the invasion of [[political correctness]], [[Europe|European]] [[immigration]], and other [[liberal values]] that have afflicted much of mainland Scotland.
