Musical Chairs (the game)
'''Musical Chairs''' is a children's game played to the accompaniment of music, usually recorded, such as on a [[tape recorder]]. The adult arranges several chairs in the middle of the room, and each child takes a seat. When the music starts, the children get up and walk or skip around the circle, while the adult removes a chair or designates it as the "out", for example by placing a book or pin on it. When the music stops, usually suddenly, each child must try to find a chair and sit down; the child who cannot sit is "out". The game continues in this manner until all but one child is "out".
