::Absolutely, right now my personal project is to keep clicking the random button and ensure that the subject of each article is defined at the start. Perhaps we could have a [[Conservaproject:Definition first]] or something like that, where interested editors could sign up. We could organise sweeps of categories in order to ensure that all the articles inside are correct in this regard, and maybe try to provide some general feedback on the number of articles lacking an initial definition in order to see how much work needs to be done. No? Well, until we ARE, 'issuing assignments' is not going to go over very well with those of us who edit the site by wandering randomly until we find something interesting.
