References:
Example: Winchelsea is a beautiful resort.
To source this, you would use the tag <nowiki><ref>...</ref></nowiki> with your source taking up the "..."
So to get this: Winchelsea is a beautiful resort,<ref>Because I said so</ref> your coding would look like this: <nowiki>Winchelsea is a beautiful resort,<ref>Because I said so</ref></nowiki>
References are usually to books or websites (though sometimes they're afterthoughts<ref>like this</ref>). When linking to a website, simply follow the same steps as you normally would.
The final step to references is showing them. First, create a new
called References, using the coding: "<nowiki>==References==</nowiki>".<ref>The = signs create a new section.</ref> Then insert the code: <nowiki><references/></nowiki> on the next line to automatically create a list of everything coded with the "ref" tags..
If you used the same reference repeatedly in an article, you don't have to put the whole source in multiple times.<ref name="repeat">You could, but it'd look bad.</ref><ref name="repeat"/><ref name="repeat"/><ref name="repeat"/> This is accomplished by giving the reference a name. The first citation has the format: <nowiki><ref name="repeat"> ... </ref></nowiki>. After that point to refer to the same reference again, use the following: <nowiki><ref name="repeat"/></nowiki>, with no other tags.
