A 1993 graduate of the [[United States Naval Academy]], Governor Blunt is currently a Lieutenant Commander in the Naval Reserve. Blunt is the only statewide official in Missouri history called to active military duty in wartime, serving for six months in [[Operation Enduring Freedom]].

Having accomplished everything he set out to accomplish in just one term, Governor Blunt will not stand for re-election in 2008. Many in the state were amazed that he accomplished his two most ambitious goals in only four years: (1) kicking 80,000 freeloading poor people off of Medicaid and (2) destroying his own political career. Cheers, jackass.
