Faith is necessary for belief in a deity. But it is something without evidence. It is a blindness, something to follow to say, "I believe in God because I have faith", but all religions have faith. Why is your faith better than that of a Muslim's, or a Hindu's? Why is something pointless regarded as 'evidence?'

Perhaps the greatest description of faith is that of the [[Epistle to the Hebrews]], chapter 11. It states: "Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see."<ref>Hebrews 11:1 (NIV).</ref>
