The [[Christianity|Christian]] '''Trinity''' consists of [[God the Father]], [[Jesus Christ|God the Son]], and God the [[Holy Spirit]], as established by the [[Nicene Creed]]. It is the three parts that make up the one God, all co-equal, and all forming one God. The concept of the Trinity is embraced by the [[Roman Catholic Church]], the [[Orthodox Church]], and nearly all [[Protestantism|Protestant]] denominations.

The concept of the Trinity is embraced by the [[Roman Catholic Church]], the [[Orthodox Church]], and nearly all [[Protestantism|Protestant]] denominations.  While [[God the Father]], [[Jesus Christ]], and the [[Holy Spirit]] are three separate entities in the Bible, [[Christian]]s believe that they are not separate, but are components, or facets, of God.  Thus, Christians worship all three, as well as the [[Virgin Mary]] and the various [[Saint]]s, but are [[monotheistic]].
