A concept album can tell a story. For example, Operation: Mindcrime.
Line 1: Line 1:
A '''concept album''' is an album that has one main theme to it. For instance, all of the [[Pink Floyd]] albums from ''Wish You Were Here'' to ''The Final Cut'' are concept albums. ''Wish You Were Here'' is about Syd Barrett and about how the record company does not care about the artist, as long as they can get their money, and ''The Final Cut'' is an anti-war album. Similarly, all Roger Waters' albums (with the exception of ''Radio K.A.O.S.'') are concept albums.<br />

However, a concept album should not be confused with a [[rock opera]]. A rock opera has a story line to it whereas a concpet album has one main point, but no story.
