In this sense, ''Spore'' is a departure from the trend.  In the game, the player takes control of a single cell, and guides the [[evolution]] of its species through a vast time span, eventually becoming an [[animal]] and forming a [[civilization]], before exploring space through a UFO.  Accordingly, ''Spore'' implicitly accepts the [[Theory of evolution]] as truth, and rejects the theory of Creationism. (And wouldn't that be a dull game. What? You're gonna tell Adam not to eat the apple?)
