Perhaps a philosopher here could clean this up. Existentialism is much different and more complex than explained here. For instance, many people see existentialism as opposed to religion, rather than as giving oneself to God. We need a much better article here, lest someone uses this one to try to find useful information. I am not an expert qualified to do this.
