War is nothing more than two countries that chose to kill each other over something stupid like land or religion. Wars is shooting people and ending people's lives. Isn't that murder? It is not considered murder because it is our enemies that are dead. But let's look at that for one second. That is someone's child dead. A mother's baby that was just killed. If that happens to an American solder, people dispise the Iraqui troops because a mother is crying because she has just lost her baby. However, when an Iraqui solder dies, fighting for what they believe in, we do not care, although their mother is crying in pain because her baby is not alive either. --[[User:Rocky|Rocky]]

:Murder has a technical legal meaning.  Not all killing is murder.  A soldier who kills on the battlefield in accordance with his rules of engagement cannot (generally) be guilty of murder.  If you meant to ask if war was a bad thing, then the answer is yes.  --[[User:LeopoldRex|LeopoldRex]] 21:30, 5 May 2008 (EDT)
