The '''University of Bridgeport''' sits on a campus jutting out from the south coast of Connecticut. Threatened with closure after a long battle over faculty salaries, it turned to the [[Professors World Peace Academy]] (PWPA) of the [[Unification Movement]] for financial assistance in exchange for an agreement which permits PWPA to name a majority of the school's board of governors. Sources who are harshly critical of Rev. Moon and his various projects have described this as a "takeover".
