The [[New International Version]] is a manifestation of Liberal Christianity. The NIV was written to make the [[Bible]] more convenient to read, but, whether maliciously or unwittingly, it has undermined the very meaning of the scripture. == Liberal Christaians worship like Heathens==
The [[Bible]] has certain guidelines for serving [[God]]. Human sacrifice, for example, is not an acceptable form of worship, but liberals are not quite that extreme.
As when [[David]] sought to bring the [[Ark of the Covenant]] to [[Jerusalem]], the liberals utilize a "new cart"([[2 Samuel]] 6:3) to carry the sacred ark, rather than the ordained method: the priests carrying it. Trying to worship God their own way, by loading the Ark on a cart to be drawn by [[oxen]], led to disaster when "God smote [[Uzzah]] for his error." ([[2 Samuel]] 6:7)
If the Ark of the Covenant represents the means to worship God, than the this passage applies to the lives of Christian liberals, who would attempt glorifiy God according to their perception of what is best.
Instead of the world's methods, like [[Rock music]], pure music should be sung to glorify the Lord. As the [[ Philistines]] were the first to transport the Ark of the Covenant on a cart with oxen ([[1 Samuel]] 6:7), the heathen were the first to worship their gods, (drugs, sex, and violence) by means of Rock music. If music similar to the heathen's is found in to a [[church]], it is probably a liberal church. Because it attempts to conform to the ways of the world, rather than keep the standards of the Bible, this church will be unusually popular for a church. Everybody loves churches containing toleration for sin and a minimum of Biblical standards, so it is easy to find Liberal Christians by their church.
