The amount of American lives spent to support a largely unpopular war (There and Here) was ridiculous, and what to stop the spread of an ''idea''? Most of the Vietnamese people supported communistic principles and Ho Chi Minh. Plus in 1975, it ''still'' became a communist country when the South collapsed.
