Ulster is one of the four traditional provinces of Ireland, the others being [[Connaught]] or [[Connacht]], [[Leinster]] and [[Munster]]. Ulster consists of the six counties of [[Northern Ireland]] and three counties of the [[Republic of Ireland]]. It has a population of a little under two million people. Protestants/ British Unionists in [[Northern Ireland]] often use the term Ulster as shorthand for [[Northern Ireland]] - the protest movement against the 1985 [[Anglo Irish Agreement]] used the slogan "Ulster Says No".
