I must wonder Aschlafly if you've seen the movie (or better yet, read the book), because TKaMB is a fine example of storytelling. It conveys the need for a strong character in the midst of unusually difficult circumstances; to strive for the principle of the rule of law to overcome deeply ingrained cultural "norms" that turn normal God-fearing folk into a horde of mindless vigilantes.<br>It also portrays the family as the basic unit of society '''and''' the importance of family in teaching that the values that sometimes permeate society at-large do not necessarily reflect those of a respectful, just and honorable [read conservative] way of life. -[[User talk:MargeryCampbell|Marge]] 17:31, 24 May 2008 (EDT)
