'''Only Fools and Horses''' is a British comedy about a working class pair of brothers, Derek "Del Boy" Trotter (David Jason) and Rodney Trotter (Nicholas Lyndhurst) and an elderly relative, Grandad (Lennard Pearce) and later Uncle Albert (Buster Merryfield). The two run a company, Trotters Independant Traders (the humourous initials are intention), which sells virtually anything that he thinks can make a profit.
The title "Only Fools and Horses" comes from the opening music for the show, in which the singer asks rhetorically "why do only fools and horses work?"
