You're confusing a political ideology -conservatism- and you're right, a lot of what you list aren't conservative values - but conservatives don't have a monopoly on faith. Being opposed to hunting isn't necessarily anti-Christian: in fact, many Christians would consider the stewardship of God's creation and respect for animals to be in line with Christian values. As for the abortion/UNICEF link well, UNICEF does a lot of things, encouraging family planning is one of them - and I know many, many liberal-minded Christians who understand the need for safe and accessible abortion even if they wish it was never necessary. Sorry I just dont consider her a really good person.Hunting is part of good stewardship. It helps control the poulation of Deer,Rabbits,Squirrel,etc. Its nothing personal I just in good conscience support groups which I find against my religious and politcal ideals nor certain celebs who do.When they get in your face and look down their nose at me because I fish and eat meat and value the life or the unborn. Like I said sorry if that offends you but I refuse to compromise my beliefs or my integrity on issues I feel are important.
