The '''Convention on Cluster Munitions''' is an attempt to limit the sovereignty of the [[United States]] by banning all forms of [[cluster bomb]]s. It is supported by every country that does not manufacture the bombs, and opposed by the U.S., China, Russia, India, and other producers of weapons. It was initially believed that the [[United Kingdom]] would oppose the treaty, but after lobbying from [[France]], [[Gordon Brown]] caved in to the liberals' desire to further divide the U.S. and U.K.

The '''Convention on Cluster Munitions''' is an international agreement, signed by 111 nations, banning all forms of [[cluster bomb]]s. It is opposed by the U.S., China, Russia, India, and other producers of weapons.

Despite the convention's high-minded ideals, it was realized that none of the countries could survive without ties to the U.S., so a provision was added allowing signatories to maintain normal relations with non-signatories. As such, the convention has little to no effect on the world. That didn't stop [[Wikipedia]] from featuring it on their main page, of course.
