Retain with qualification?
Line 6: Line 6:
:::I'll defer to you guys, I'm not that kind of history buff :-). I would ask though, maybe the chart is only considering certain types of technology necessary for this type of construction project? Not that the dark ages didn't produce ships, but perhaps in comparison to Egypt, etc, they didn't have the same capability? Of course I have no clue what I'm talking about. If you want to remove it, it's fine with me. --[[User:Ymmotrojam|Ymmotrojam]] 17:52, 21 June 2008 (EDT)

:::: I think the graph has merit, even if it's somewhat crude.  Perhaps it should be retained but with some sort of qualification.  Many people, steeped in evolutionary belief, think that human ability has steadily increased over time, with perhaps the odd setback, and would not even dream that ancient people could have anything other than a very primitive technology.  So it serves a purpose to present a different, more biblical, view of this.  [[User:Philip J.
