The ''Skeptics Annotated Bible'' contains the text of the Bible (King James version), with comments alongside many of the Bible verses. Most of these comments are designed to draw attention to alleged absurdities and inconsistencies in the text, according to the viewpoint of the authors.  The areas of perceived difficulties are broken down into various 'tags'.  There is also an index by topic that only shows selected verses also designed to be inflammatory.

Each comment or flag of a particular passage is not designed to simply ridicule but to reinforce the simple statement of "if this book is the spoken word of God, would this be in it?". Criticism of this book point to the pithiness of each comment and alledged "misunderstanding of culture" though such criticisms are clearly from a critic who has not viewed the site.
