Some defended the movie's poor recepeption by pointing out that it is not '[[politically correct]]'.However this argument falls flat when pointed out that most criticsms are levied at the quality of the film making. An example of another documentary that is not politically correct is the the film the "Triumph of the Will", a Nazi propaganda film praised as one of the greatest documentaries of all time. critics paid to rate movies have been harsh with only 3 positive reviews out of 33 on the website Rotten Tomatoes, and a 20 out of 100 rating on the website Metacritic.
