This well known hoax ''does'' support Aschlalfy's position that the paper was reviewed by PNAC ''rather quickly'', since (apparently) the paper supported the editors/reviewers point of view. Perhaps this would have beeen better placed on the [[Richard Lenski]] page rather than here since this deals only with the 6/10/08 PNAS paper ''per se'' and not the review process. :I fail to see the relevance of the Sokal Hoax here. You should also know that Social Text was not a peer-reviewed journal when Sokal submitted his paper. That doesn't excuse the credulity of its editors, but Sokal's paper was not sent out for review.
