Thor is the thunder god of Viking mythology. Years ago his father, [[Odin]], in an atempt to teach his son humility, placed Thor in the body of a mild mannered mortal and stripped him of his divine powers. Now going by Donald Blake, the depowered god lived as any mortal would until August, 1962, when he found a magical stick able to transform him into his divine form.
Thor then began working as any super-powered individual would, living a double life and rescuing people in his divine form. For a time he fought alongside such heroes as Spider-Man, Iron Man, and the late, great [[Captain America]], against many villains, like the Absorbing Man, Loki, and Thanos.
Currently, Thor is lost in space after successfully taking over the world and subsequently resetting time to prevent himself from taking it over. His hammer Mjolnir have recently returned to Earth after falling through several planes of existance and freeing many souls from Hell.
