Tikka Masala is a [[British Indian]] dish, usually made of [[chicken]]. It consists of [[Tandoori]] cooked chicken pieces in a yoghurt based sauce. The origin of the dish is disputed, but appears to have originated among the Indian community in [[Birmingham]] adapting the spicy and hot Indian way of cooking to the natives' palate.
