I read your latest essay with great interest. Although I agree with you that Title IX has probably reduced the competitiveness of our Olympic team, I wonder if this is a great enough cost to justify repealing it. I believe that women's sports at the collegiate level have benefited greatly from Title IX, and I wonder if reduced Olympic competitiveness is an acceptable trade-off for this benefit.
