→Compulsory Education in Germany
I'm afraid your tiny correction is wrong: The compulsory education in Germany takes ten years (Hauptschule, Realschule). Pupils may go on for two or three years (Gymnasium) - according to the Land they live in (and as always, it's a little bit more complicated ) --DiEb 16:07, 14 August 2008 (EDT)

:Actually, in most Bundesländer the compulsory education is nine years, which you would have upon passing the Hauptschule. Or by dropping out earlier of the other two school types, but then you might not get any finishing certificate, depending on the Land. ~ Tolkiendil 16:18, 14 August 2008 (EDT)
