'''Ladin''' is a [[Romance]] language spoken in a few valleys of the [[Dolomites]] mountains in Northeastern Italy. It is not to be confused with [[Romansh]], one of the four official languages of [[Switzerland]], which is sometimes incorrectly called Ladin. Both Ladin and Romansh belong to the family of [[Rhaeto-Romance]] languages, but their common origin hasn't been decisively proved.
