:Am I sure? yeah. Most "soft" curse words actually become soft because 200 years ago they were teh F-you of their time. Dang, Fop, Bugger, arse, (gosh, i don't know about, admittedly) were found in 12th century writing and were the equivalent of today's "you said WHAT" words).
