Would it be appropriate to redivide this with one section for rules which apply to both genders (e.g. good manners, avoid profanity, avoid gossip), then the sections on ruled for boys and girls? Boys and girls are not 'equal' - in things like strength, for instance - so it's unlikely a boy would lower himself by bragging the way sideways suggested.
We have separate do's and dont's for boys and girls because of their inherent differences.
