The Nine Hells is an otherworldly realm in which the nine different levels of [[Hell]] are encased. It is not a part of standard Christian theology, and was popularized by [[Dante's Inferno]]. The ninth level of hell, called Judecca, named after [[Judas Iscariot]], is described by Dante as a frozen lake of ice, in which the greatest sinners, traitors, are frozen to varying degrees in the ice. In the center of Judecca is Satan, frozen up to his waist in the ice. He is described as having three faces, in the three mouths he chews for eternity the three greatest sinners: [[Brutus]], [[Cassius]], and in the middle mouth, [[Judas Iscariot]].
