:Unfortunately that's all I remember.  It was a 'cloud' type area of space that they entered and then couldn't get out of.  The alien materialized in the air on their ship and looked non-human.  It had no legs or anything touching the ground.  He said his species wished to study all forms of death and dying and then he killed one of the crew on the bridge.  He said that to finish his experiments would take a little more than half of Picard's crew.  It was a phony Ryker and Troi who were talking to him in his quarters when he made his statement.
