The concept known as the "Bush Doctrine" did not become popular just a few days ago with Charles Gibson's interview of Palin. It was first coined in 2002 in a NY Times article found here http://query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage.html?res=9A0DE3DE123CF930A25757C0A9649C8B63. Granted the Bush Doctrine is not as well defined as say the Truman Doctrine, but the term has certainly been in use for years. I would edit the page directly, but I would most likely fall victim to a banning.--[[User:AndrasK|AndrasK]] 23:42, 15 September 2008 (EDT)

:You're correct AmesdrasK.  Please edit the article and make it factual.  Remember, cite your sources.  If you do this, you need not fear becoming a block victim. Thanks. [[User:HenryS|HenryS]] 23:47, 15 September 2008 (EDT)

::Will do (cannot do it right now due to time pressures, but I will later tonight). Thanks for the assurance against a block, unfortunately, I see more and more ideological blocking everyday. Good to see that some sysops abide by their own rules! --[[User:AndrasK|AndrasK]] 07:06, 16 September 2008 (EDT)
