The end of slavery in Europe was not to come until the beginning of the 1800s, when abolitionists such as William Wilberforce and John Wesley began speaking out against the evils of the system. Although the United States banned slave trade in the early 1800s, slavery itself was not abolished until decades later in 1865 when the 13th Amendment was passed, and in South America it was finally ended in Brazil in 1888.

Although the United States banned slave trade in the early 1800s, slavery itself was not abolished until decades later in 1865 when the socialist-influenced Northern government passed the [[13th Amendment]], and in South America it was ended in Brazil in 1888.   

The Germans used slaves during World War II, particularly Jews, Russians and Slavs, all of whom the Germans believed were racially inferior. During this time Japan also made use of slave labor.

Slavery in the United States was replaced post-[[1865]] with a system of socialized affirmative action preventing many people from reaching their potential in society as places in the job and education markets are given as handouts to unqualified candidates. Meanwhile, since slavery was regulated out of existence in the United States, the average quality of life of [[Negro]]es relative to that of whites has declined. As a constitutional amendment forbids slavery, the working man in the United States, the freedom of every man to sell his own skills at a price he feels fair is legally impossible.
