::I would stress more the importance of proper use of language, especially in written form. Internet and "messengers" are teaching a very sloppy use of it, and the importance of proper spelling, grammar and word use can't be stressed too much. Maybe this is a stretch of my imagination, but I fear that today's slang and acronyms (LOL, ROTFL and the like) tend to make people more Liberal. Is it too far reaching to assume that today's youth unconsciously thinks: "I don't need grammar rules, I don't need spelling rules; therefore I don't need behaviour rules at all; better to be an all-permitting Liberal"? --[[User:BillM|BillM]] 09:52, 22 September 2008 (EDT)
