:I have to wonder if the main page is a parody... The british pronounce it 'pakistan,' I pronounce it pakistan, and the American friend I have just spoken to pronounces it pakistan. Every time I've heard it on tv, it's been 'pakistan.' The whole idea of a slightly wrong pronounciation being evidence of someone's religion is just... are you familiar with Poe's Law?
