Remembered "Air Force One" last night.
During the 1999 NATO bombing campaign of Yugoslavia (Operation Allied Force), F-15s from the 493rd Expeditionary Fighter Squadron shot down four Mig-29s, all with AIM-120 AMRAAM missiles.

F-15 in Fiction
While not having as prominent a Hollywood career as its Navy counterpart, the F-14 Tomcat, the Eagle has made appearances in film and television. A flight of F-15s flew to President Harrison Ford's rescue in the movie Air Force One, and two F-15s had a brief scene at the end of the CBS series Jericho.
