It was the cold morning of 1955 when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor. The boys and I were ready for the attack though, we were just pretended that we were not ready. We became so wrapped up in pretending we were not ready we actually became unaware of the incoming attack.

I lost many of my comrades fighting off the Germans on the sandy shores with just a bowie knife and piece of tin foil I had safely secured in my back pack. I killed one, then another, then Mendez was shot by one of them, then I killed his killer, then everything became a blur....
