The '''National Film Registry''' is a collection of "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant" American films. It is run by the [[Library of Congress]]. Each year, 25 films are added to the registry.
Here is a list of the films: [http://www.loc.gov/film/titles.html]
The registry includes well-known [[Hollywood]] classics, landmark independent films, home movies, important [[experimental film]]s, [[documentary]] films, propaganda films, and more.
