After seeing the benefits of drug and alcohol prohibition, conservatives saw the readily evident benefits of simply informing people that they should not do something because of its sinful nature, and calling it a day. Just as use of marijuana and alcohol have all but disappeared in the United States, so too will the plague of premarital sex soon end.
