Great job, Joaquin. Can I make a suggestion? I have always thought of the Sistine Chapel ceiling paintings by Michael Angelo to be one of the greatest painting contributions. The moment God's hand give life to Adam is awesome and inspiring and is an iconic image of what we all believe in.

I'm thinking that this page would work better as an essay, rather than a mainspace article, as "most famous paintings" is purely and inherently a matter of opinion, necessarily influenced by education and experience. That said, I must respectfully disagree with some of your selections. I would further suggest that many of the paintings you've chosen aren't even the most well-known for a particular artist.
