::Worse yet about that DVD edition--it was panned and scanned, and that pleased no one. As you say, it had no menu, so that when the movie ends, the DVD loops back to the beginning. :::I just saw this movie last night (which means that my Netflix queue is about 7 months long!). I didn't notice anything weird with the pan-and-scanning (though I never saw the original... and I don't entirely know what panning and scanning is), but I definitely thought it was weird when the movie started playing again!
