The thirteenth was made to abolish slavery: Giving all slaves freedom.
The fourteenth was made to give equal rights to all races: Making sure that all people, black and white alike have the same freedoms, and privileges.
the fifteenth was made to give all races a chance to vote: Giving all men of any color to right to vote in any election.
3. Who was your favorite military figure from the Civil War, and why? My favorite is probably 'Stonewall' Jackson. Not because of the side he fought for, or because of the side he opposed, but because of his bravery and cunning. Imagine being called one of the greatest generals of our country's history!
