The "Fishbed" has a long and narrow body fitted with two delta wings and a single [[afterburner|afterburning]] [[turbojet]] fitted with single exhaust. It is fitted with a bubble canopy.

[[China]] builds the MiG-25 under the name of the J-7. Production of the J-7 was licensed by the Soviet Union in 1961. The aircraft will be replaced by the J-8.
