A '''cashier''' is a worker who handles cash in an office, shop, or other commercial premises. Cashiers can just pay out money, as in the case of a wages cashier in a factory, just take in money, as in a cashier in a shop, or can both receive and hand out money, as in the case of a [[bank]] cashier.
