Changes

Rodney King was a [[PCP]] user who was stopped and arrested in 1991 for driving under the influence and speeding.  During the arrest, he was beaten by four Los Angeles Police Department officers, who were charged with police brutality for the incident.  The beating had been video-taped by a passer-by, and made news worldwide. The acquittal of the officers on all but one charge kicked off the [[1992 Los Angeles riots]].

Rodney King has been arrested multiple times for intoxicated and dangerous driving several times since the incident.
